I'm loving this new editing style! It's beautiful, fluid, just feels right!
I also love this series, although I am not a beginner myself, I still learnt a few things and probably remembered some long forgotten ones haha
Awesome videos, Dan, keep up the great work!

I just found out about you, I got struggles with learning and I started being depressed but looking at you enjoying every single milimeter of the coding just gave me some courage to enjoy it instead of forcing it, thanks dude, you're awesome.

THANK YOU!!!...😂💖 I've been teaching myself javascript on an as-needed basis for a desperately-needed system I've been working on for a few years now. I originally designed it in Excel, but the merged cells and conditional formatting took up too much file space, and adding new categories and stuff to certain pages was an unscrupulous nightmare. Between your videos, Chat GPT, Wix Epic Solutions, and running a lot of my own tests, I'm actually managing to recreate a very complex system in a more functional manner, where even adding the new categories or book or author names is much, much simpler, and said entries can all co-exist on a single page on the user side.

Because of you, I've actually started to understand the structure of good code. How to divide it up & how to append pieces to items where I might want multiple actions to be performed at the same time.

I spent about the past month trying to write about 40 different iterations of code that only failed every time I connected a second database to it. I found your channel about halfway through and took tedious notes on a lot of the projects you built for us to follow along with. While I didn't actually build those projects, they still provided examples for me to refer back to and also helped me to realize what the console log was for so I can diagnose issues.

A major realization I had just yesterday was this: Use the bottom half of the code window as an "internal code dictionary" to set up the names and definitions or To-Dos of various new functions I need to create, and then return to the top of the code window to create or edit the code blocks that refer back to that 'internal code dictionary'. So my code window is sectioned off into different working sections.

I've watched a lot of other YouTubers discuss javascript, and the videos covering any sort of code for Wix is extremely limiting--doing nothing but confuse me. Wix Epic Solutions was helpful for certain starter ideas, but it gave me nothing close to what my system requires, specifically.

thank you!!!! I still know next to nothing about javascript or coding in general, but I do know that understanding the structure of it and how to diagnose/fix issues is a MASSIVE step in the right direction.

(My project is finally moving forward again. Yay!)

I've been messing with javascript intermittently for like 4 years, been employed with it for 3 months and in all that time I've never left the client; don't understand the first thing about server hoo ha and node. Looking forward to this series <3; maybe I'll finally be able to defeat the evil level 403 boss; CORS.

You are most definitely a Legend🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
I have never come across someone who can explain concepts the way you do especially with programming…

Thank you 😌🙏🏾😌

Looks great, working (fullstack) with API's is a great skill to learn! One question though, on what basis did you choose to work with Node.Js on the server side in particular? Are there any specific benefits for it or do other frameworks propose any difficulties that Node.Js bypasses? I'd love to hear your opinion!
