That wide bladed stance with bouncy feet comes from his background in Goju-ryu Karate. But, of course he is a hybrid striker. Not a pure karateka. He surely incorporates other techniques from other martial arts such as boxing, muay thai etc. He is also a good wrestler. He is a mix martial artist for a reason. So he is mixing different techniques from various fighting styles that suits him. Great striker, great fighter.
