Thank you for this excellent video. We should archive this for the humans of the future.

Thanks, as always for a great and detailed video. I’m eyeing one of these on eBay right now and was wondering about the underside of the key caps. The one on eBay, (as well as the unit you show here) have some key some of the key caps with a black underside where some keys look like they are missing this black piece. Do you know if that is an intentional design element or a covering that has fallen off? The ones missing on the one I’m eyeing differ from the ones missing on yours. Thanks again for such informative and well produced videos.

Excellent presentation of the ergonomic variables of different models in the SM series.
Thanks a bunch for this video. Mike Kirwan - Kenmore, WA

Very interesting, no designated '1' key. Is that a regular thing?

I'd love to own a working typewriter.
But...I know nothing about typewriters or their maintenence.

I think it's time to start learning. Any suggestions on where to start for a newbie?

The SM7 is so much better looking than the 8 and 9. Could get one locally but it has a huge carriage so not too thrilled about that.

Do you know the type of key the case uses or know where to get one? Even if its not original.

C.O.A. == "Clean, Oil, Adjust". Basic pro maintenance job.
