This is perfect for making somewhat durable plastic parts for plastic fastener hardware, furniture parts and gaming pieces. You do not use this kind of a 3D printer for making high precision scale model parts that need a glossy finish suitable for airbrushing on. This library printer is called a polymer resin deposit printer and it will always leave fine ridges on your end product that will need very heavy sanding to make glass smooth. Look for a local printer who uses a Resin Vat 3D printer (FormLabs) or Digital Light Printing 3D printer (3D Systems) for your scale modelling needs.
