I Was Wrong About the iPad Pro
Special thanks to University of Phoenix for sponsoring this video. Opinions expressed are those of the influencer/my own and not necessarily of the sponsor.

It’s been over 2 years since I first reviewed the iPad Pro 12.9-inch tablet and a lot has changed since then. The software has come a long way and the hardware has improved, but is that enough to change my initial impressions of the iPad Pro?

Did you take a chance on the iPad Pro? At least I can admit I was wrong...

this video feels more like it was made, to squeeze in an ad for a university, rather than talking about something interesting...

I wouldn't be so dismissive regarding the pencil capability. Many artist prefer this as their main drawing device. In fact it's so good it rivals or even surpasses many overpriced pc setups including the super expensive surface book 2. It barely has any lag where you can actually draw a straight line with minimum jitter. In fact this is the best drawing/painting tool for the money. Although, I do agree the charging of the pencil seems primitive and there's no place to store it but that can be solved if you purchase a case (which we all do to protect our investment) with a pencil holder. At the moment, I find this to be the one of the best devices for artist or note takers to showcase their work with grade "A" results.

I use my iPad Pro a ton, and the Apple Pencil is absolutely a game changer. It's perfect when using it in conjunction with Lightroom for selective edits or in paint programs like Clip Studio or Procreate.

You are wrong about the pencil too. If you are going to review a product, supposedly to aid others, then you should at least think of how others might use the product in the real world. You don’t need to be an artist of some type to benefit from the pencil. Also, it should not be hard to imagine who, or what sort of pro, might benefit from having a pencil. If you can do that, instead of just thinking solely from your own limited point of view, then your reviews will be much more helpful and you might be wrong less often. But at least you owned up to your previous mistake, so there is hope for you yet.

Apple pencil is used everywhere in the Math/Physics/Science world. Making notes, drawing graphs etc

I’m a student and have the 10.5 and it’s so handy with the Apple Pencil to make notes in class, I then have a 3ish year old Lenovo laptop if I want to do use a laptop. It’s a great setup for me.

3:45 How can you lose 2 apple pencils? So you also never had like an expensive pen or something? It's not that hard to just keep it in a case...

I have the 12.9 2017, had the 2015 before it. Always inside a case. Recently decided to take it out of case to clean. Brought me back to first time I used it and how amazed I was of it. Drawing on it is still the best experience ever. Also do yourself a favor an read a magazine on it.

Good humility. It's important to revisit one's opinions from time to time, with people and, I suppose, with products or brands. Gives them room and reason to grow.
If you do give it away, I can see that getting a lot of use here at the farm and out at the farm stand.
Way to grow, homie.

1:57 the price hasn’t changed that much. The iPad Pro launched at $799. It just had a tiny 32 GB capacity for that price, which no one wanted, so most people spent $949. With the second gen iPad Pro, the base storage was increased to 64 GB, and the other storage tiers also doubled, but there wasn’t any price slashing.

The iPad with the Apple pencil is really a charm for a regular student tbh, After buying both of these, Taking notes and doing multiple updates to it has helped me a ton in studies in general! If you're a student and just want to buy it for taking notes and other media consuming needs, Then I would definitely say you to give the apple pencil and the iPad 10.5 inch a shot....Hopefully you won't regret!

I have ipad pro last gen 12.9 and apple pencil. I am graphic designer / artist, and I love this thing. It is great for drawing. And now with affinity designer, I can create vector designs on the couch, on the go with like 70-80 % efficiency compared to regular pc

For students the Apple Pencil is SO USEFUL! And the hole “problem” of losing it, the are several cases with a holder and you barely notice it. Great video and congrats on going back to school!

Love the RE-VISIT videos. Many products have a difficult release, yet turn into awesome devices.

1:40 I don’t understand how you could be wrong about this given you had the device, but side by side multitasking shipped with iPad Pro and iOS 9. The differences in iOS 11 are the dock, the ability to have two apps split screen AND one app floating, and the new multitasking pane that remembers apps you s-split-screened together. Also, over the past two years a large percentage of third-party productivity apps have actually adopted floating and split screen support in their code. You watched the iPad Pro keynote, righ5? Multitasking was the headline feature of iOS 9 for iPad.
