I'm catholic and am very aware of the controversies concerning this pope. My advice is to follow the longstanding teachings of the church and what is stated in the Catholic Catechism. What a pope states "off the cuff" is NOT considered infallible doctrine (or without mistake)

CP you are right for saying that there's only one way to the Father and that's Jesus christ the Son of God ( John 14:6 ). And any arguments to this is from the devil. I always loved to say 1 way 1 God. You can't even say you believe in 1 God but you can come to him through many paths, That is wrong and it is a doctrine from the pith of hell. I was troubled when the great Sam Shoun witnessed against Calvinism and supported the appearance of Mary which led a Muslim family to Catholicism.
I personally do not hv anything against Catholic faith since thr r strong Christian s among them

But I cannot believe the deity of Mary or anyone but Christ as the great mediator

All religion can't leads to God and only those who believes in Jesus Christ! Who is the way to the truth, and the way to have eternal life's. They'll remains in Jesus Christ and lasted in him until the end of their lives; they will surely reached heaven, and their name too'll be written on the book of life. That is the only way that people on this earth will leads and reached and also entered God heavenly kingdom who is his paradise. ❤.
The way to the father is from his son, and the way to his son is from the holy spirit of God.
We know now on earth to our lord Jesus Christ is from the holy spirits of God's because his disiples has been slaughtered by the people's on this earth, and only one disiple who died in peace in this world! The apostle John died in peace, and rest died by getting hurts to their bodies in pains. Amen. ❤.

Jesus clearly states "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one can come to the Father but by me" John 14:6
Jesus is the one and only way and the one and only final sacrifice for the sins of the world.

If people who claim to be Christians but have no depth understanding God and His essences, will not recognize same beliefs held in various religions. I listened to Hindus expressing their faith, even expressed their belief in Christ’s teachings. Confucius named the 7 commandments pertaining to one’s neighbor but it was to Judaism the revelation of Who God is was revealed.

It was the Nazarene Jewish apostles who went out into the world to preach the Gospel and practically all martyred. Judaism does not reach out to share their faith like Christianity that completes it bringing God down face to face through relationship with Christ.

So, many religions have shared aspects of the same God, approach Him, but the next step is to completely have communion with the Creator but it is Crucified Christ alone Who totally connects us to God.

I will never talk for someone but I’m Catholic and with many Catholics we are troubled by what the Pope said. We know full well where our salvation rests, Christ!!! The only way!! I think criticizing the Pope you should not cast dispersions on the Holy Catholic Apostolic Church. This Church created by Christ will never fall despite what people may think. I don’t agree with the some of the agenda of the current Catholic hierarchy but never doubt the Church itself will fall. For when God saved the nation Israel bc of 7000 faithful who did not bow the knee to Baal, the same with the Church. We’ve had bad Popes before and the Church still stands because of Christ’s promise.
