I really enjoyed your detailed descriptions! I have a Cricut that’s never been out of the box because I can’t think of things to do with it. I really loved the mothers writing, the big Callahan sign & all the « French decor ». I lived in France from age 18 months -4years & learned to speak both English & French when I was learning to talk; we had a phone with an accessory that was an earpiece only. My mom would listen & I would translate back & forth. I love French décor. Thank you so much for such great ideas & clear detail! When I was a teenager I worked in a paint store with a craft corner where I started offering classes for macramé, découpage & painting. I taught people why their paint pealed & how to combat it. .Kilz hadn’t been invented yet. The issue with the background lifting is the MODPODGE, it was designed to “seal” for decoupage; so it was not formulated to use with paint except to SEAL it for waterproof with one of the varieties, otherwise just to seal wood in order to paint pictures as in tole painting, which I also learned & later taught. It’s to prevent paint from soaking into the wood & causing bleed over. Maybe masking tape (rubbed on ur jeans to decrease the tack), instead of painters tape may work better. Its not necessary with the applications you’re using it for here unless you would like a longer lasting durability, just make sure you burnish the edges of the stencils well before applying the paint & only use MODPODGE to seal. It was also designed to lift colors from a rice napkin removing the napkin & leaving the print behind. I have a question about the engraved spatulas. Did u use the Explore Air 2 to do that? I want to make name tags for our animals but I thought I could only do it with the maker. I’d LOVE to be able to do this. I have an engraving tool for my cricut but was a little afraid to try it.

You really come up with so many special and unique ways to use a cricut! I especially love the sign with your grandmother's signature. I lost my mom ten years ago and I know how much I would love something like that hanging on my wall. It would feel like I always had a piece of her nearby. 💙

The letter gift for your father, oh that was beautiful. Really got me💗 I have notes my Mum sent me and my son, and they are precious to me. I wish I had a cricut, and your skills.

I'm still in love with the sign made for your husband using a letter from his grandmother in her own handwriting and the Popcorn tin idea was great, I loved it! I have several saved and wasn't sure what I was going to do with them yet, now I know what to do with at least one or two. Oh, and Cricut had a great sale in February so I finally got me a Cricut Maker!! I'm so excited, it finally came in and I can't wait to get started making things. Thanks for sharing all your tricks and ideas using the Cricut machines and I'd love to see more ideas so yes, keep them coming!

Thank you, Natalee, for showing many DIY projects. I have questions about painting plastic hamlets. What kind of painting color should I use? What process should I do to make it waterproof? Look forward to hearing from you. Thank you so much.

Cricut does have endless possibilities and I appreciate how you show me how to make projects with it, especially those pillows! I wish everyone could have one as well, and I keep trying to win one for my friend! I can't tell you how grateful I am for all your dupes, showing that we women can use power tools, (much to my husband's chagrin) and all your designs and stencils that you share with us for free!! I'm currently waiting for the paint to dry on my Happy Spring wood round and I got the Peter Rabbit print sitting next to me ready to display. Much affection to you, Sheryl

I use Thick-it & Ammonium Chloride together with a bit of water for large projects & apply to my wood signs for about 15 minutes. Then I peel the stencil & heat it with a heat gun. The fumes are ridiculous so use in a well ventilated area. It is a lot easier coverage than the scorch pen! Loved the video. Just found you today! I love my Cricut too.

Thank you, Natalee, for showing many DIY projects. I have a question about using color on painting plastic hamlets. What kind of colors should I use? What is the way to make it waterproof and no color fade.

Congrats Erica! Natalie your Grandmother's letter and the doormat are priceless! I can’t watch these enough. Other projects are nice as usual. I’m floored that your sign is styrofoam! MIND BLOWN! The Moderna DollarTree plates are the same ones I paid so much for at Crate&Barrel years ago.
