You don't show installation on horizontal lap siding which does not provide a uniform flat surface for mounting. It would be helpful to provide that also.

I'm finding it very difficult to figure out how to install this over common siding when you don't know what's behind it. The kind of siding that overlaps is very common not the wall or the easy siding you chose to use and that's ridiculous
