If you want to be honest. There's only one type of hairline. It's suppose to go horizontal, the edges and then the sides. Pretty much the first hairline at the top on the board. Hairlines just shift as you age and some just don't shift as much. But the shifting can also be receding. Also some people just happen to not have a hairline. The only way your hairline can look different is if there is extra hair grown over the hairline, close to the forehead. Which you would have to cut and slightly push some hair back to create a hairline (Those type of people should be happy about that tho). So think about it. When you doing the hairline, how is the hairline done?.. From horizontal (left to right or right to left) and then vertical (edges and sides).
