Just my thoughts on the MB 1050 after a month of ownership

Rotisserie RIbs! This is one of the best grills/smokes $ for $!

#Masterbuilt1050, #RiboLator, #Rotisserie

If you have a bar and motor laying around.

This kit requires balance and you must cut the handle off

A lot of folks with other gravity feeds like stumps etc that want to switch up wood often just drop it in the ash pan rather than mixing it with the charcoal. The disadvantage is you need to keep adding for longer cooks.

Really appreciate shooting knowledge to us on your video. Thanks. I have a 560...no problem so far other then a flair up other then that I only bought it for the smoke charcoal more so the charcoal flavor it produces. It's a good grill but my I do switch to my treager

I watched a masterbuilt Rep put wood in the ash bin instead of the chute...also same recommendation in their FAQs. The heat from the falling ashes ignite the wood in the bin and produces smoke.

Got the 1050... ya not excited about the controller. Gonna buy the Fireboard for it. Probably a dumb question but do I also need to buy the Fireboard drive fan control cable? That’s a $90 cable. I’d like to avoid that expense if I could.

Just curious. I am planning on replacing my old stick burner with this guy. So far I am seeing that most folks love this thing. This video is kinda old. You still loving it?

5:30 in the comparison video the tube on the 560 was burnt and bubbles to shit! Are you saying the 1050 doesn’t do that?

Have you bought their rotisserie? Good review.

I have the MB Rotisserie. Would the baskets you have in your link work on it without modification? Says it fits most spits and motors but for $100 bucks, I would hate to get them and it not work out.

Great videos. Could you do an in depth video of your rotisserie setup, including your counter weight/balancing weight? Maybe end it with a great rotisserie cook?

Good video, found you looking for gravity feed info. Now I see you have a Summit charcoal, I'll have to look at those videos on the summit. Which is your preference

I’m a little confused with this grill, it’s a new concept to me. I have a char griller right now and I need something more premium. My biggest complaint is if I put in 100lbs of charcoal, I’m burning it all. I can never choke it out at the end and I burn so much extra.

Weird hypothetical test scenario - you can have the chute fully loaded with the 10lbs of charcoal, make 1 cheeseburger, turn it off and the whole chute won’t burn up?

Is "L-Channel" actually angle iron? Just curious.

Good stuff bro,
When I bought my Rec Tec a few years ago I was like why doesn’t someone build a wood burner charcoal burner that feeds fuel! No I want to get rid of my Rec Tec and buy one of these.
You want to remod it for me:)
Good video
