They trying to charge me over $60 for two 4-wheeler tires. This is going to save me money now and in the future. Thanks.
Feedback: This video is structured really well. You nailed it, don't change a thing. Step-by-step, easy to follow, thorough, you explained why you were doing things the way you did them. 100% 5 out of 5.

You have an incredibly understanding wife to let you do this on the living room carpet! I learned a lot but I'd have to do it outside. Great video.

The camera woman made this video great!!! You did a good job but she makes the video. Her comment to start the video, the way she pans through the tire to the greatness!!!!

Thanks for posting this video. 1 16"x 7" chrome alloy wheel/225/60 tire down. 3 more to go. I used foam instead of wood. I also started with the wheel face down on the foam. So I wouldn't deal with the potential cosmetic scratches that could occur while prying the 2nd side of the tire over the wheel. Instead of using a c clamp to keep the tire from "spinning, " I used a small rubber mallet, that ended up seating the bottom lower portion of the wheel. So that prevented the tire from "spinning." I didn't think it could be done without damage. But this was easy af. I rather scratch up my wheels and know it as opposed to a professional wheel shop who will try to hide it. I had an installer scratch up my wheels and try to hide it. Never again.

A ratchet strap works great for airing up. Place it around the perimeter in the center. It helps seat the bead.

I use a large Rubber mallet when I remount my tires
Slide the tire over the rim as far as you physically can go
Then use your rubber mallet to persuade the tire to go where it’s told
Always works for me. And no damage to the chrome or alloy wheel rims

That was great. I have been changing tyres on a proper Machine Tyre Changer all week and your video was well worth a watch. Nice and relaxing too.

Awesome! I am inspired! Not only do they charge an arm and a leg to do this at tire stores, I can't get an appointment for 3 days! I had a friend whose dad would spray ether around the inside of the tire and throw a match on it to bead the tire. I think I'll use your technique; I like my head.

I give this video a solid 10 across the board! Rarely do you find a video where you follow the exact steps shown in the video and it works perfectly. Usually the video makes it seem a lot easier than what it is. But I will say this video was spot on! I followed the exact same steps as shown and I had no issues it worked perfectly the first time!!
So I definitely recommend this video to anyone who wants to mount a tire to their rim and want to do it pretty much effortlessly!!!
