All my trades are range and volume expansion breakouts from bases. My strategy is called WD (weekly to daily) and DH (daily to hourly) for WH i scan for strong momentum and volume on the weekly timeframe and look for the 1st base on the daily timeframe, for DH i scan for strong momentum and volume on the daily and enter on the 1st base on the hrly chart. I use 4% BO for entry with stop at low of day. When i hit 1R i sell half (this free rolls the trade and eliminates risk) i then ride the trend or sell if price gets extended.

Well, I have tried momentum burst (breakout) setup, and not a single time it was successful during the trial two-month period. Not onlyTC2000 scan coudn't reveal a single stock that had such a pattern but a few ones that did, price came back or even reversed. Maybe it works at some other times but during the last couple of months (Sep, Oct, Nov 2023) it doesn't.
