For those wondering: Forensic dentists and pathologists still do use hard tissue (aka skeletal) measurements to determine someone's race if they can't retrieve any DNA samples from a body. I don't think any reliable reference data exists for ethnicity as a sub-division of race, though.

This is massively off topic, but I'm fascinated by the fact that "three" and "two" are so similar in English, but "four" is completely different. Poor kid. I can imagine how uncomfortable this must have made her feel. I spent some of my early childhood in hospital & had various other illnesses over the years & I’ve had several examinations. Nothing as severe as this, but to this day even little check-ups by doctors always make me feel like a lab rat. Hate it.
