Home Depot Q3 Buyer's Guide (What To Buy and What Not To Buy)

Man, I tell ya, the deals at Home Depot these days are so good, they’re the only thing giving me any respect! I walked in looking for a few tools, maybe to save a buck or two, and I walked out feeling like I just robbed the place. I’m talkin’ about savings up to 60%! That’s right, folks, I’m not pullin’ your leg—60%! The kind of savings that’d make my wife think I finally figured out how to budget… but little does she know, I just spent more than I saved. You gotta see it to believe it!

Let me break it down for ya. In this 12-minute video, I’m walking you through some of the most ridiculous deals I found. We’ve got Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ridgid, Husky, and even Ryobi on sale, and lemme tell ya, some of these prices made my jaw drop faster than my grades in high school. These aren’t your everyday discounts; these are the kind of deals that make you wonder if Home Depot’s tryin’ to get rid of stock or if they just feel bad for us regular folks. Either way, I’m not complainin’—I’m just grabbin’ tools faster than my wife grabs sales at the mall.

Now, let’s talk about this one deal in particular, and trust me, you’re gonna wanna sit down for this one. I’m talking about the Ridgid Job Site Table Saw, with a stand, no less! This baby usually goes for $599, but guess what? They slashed the price all the way down to $299. Yeah, you heard me right—$299! That’s 50% off! This saw is practically paying me to take it home. With savings like that, you could afford to buy some lumber just to test it out. And let me tell ya, this isn’t just any table saw—this thing’s built tough, like my mother-in-law. It can handle anything you throw at it, whether you’re a weekend warrior or a full-time pro. For 300 bucks? It’s a no-brainer.

But not everything’s as peachy as that Ridgid saw, and I’m here to save you from making any costly mistakes. Some of these tools, I wouldn’t take ‘em if they were free! I’m not just throwing stuff in my cart ‘cause it’s cheap. No way, pal. I’m doing my research, and in this video, I’m breaking down exactly why some of these deals are worth every penny, while others should stay on the shelf where they belong. You think I’m just gonna throw my money at some tool that’s gonna break down after one use? No respect, I tell ya. I only take home the good stuff, and you should too.

For instance, I love Milwaukee Tools, but lemme tell ya, not all Milwaukee deals are made equal. Some of these ‘discounts’ are more like a slap in the face. If I’m gonna shell out my hard-earned money, I want the best, and I’m here to make sure you don’t waste yours either. Same goes for Dewalt. I mean, I love Dewalt just as much as the next guy, but if the discount is only 10% off? What am I, a millionaire? I need a REAL deal! You follow me?

Now, Husky tools—those are the underdogs in this story. They may not get the same respect as Milwaukee or Dewalt, but for the price, these tools are solid. I’m talkin’ about wrenches, ratchets, storage solutions—they’re built tough, and they won’t empty your wallet. If you’re looking for durability on a budget, Husky might be the hero of this shopping trip. No respect? As for Ryobi, it’s the brand you either love or hate, right? But lemme tell ya something—Ryobi’s making some moves. If you’re a DIYer or you just need something for occasional use, Ryobi’s got some fantastic options. They’re not trying to compete with the big dogs, but they know their audience, and they’re delivering solid tools at a price point that even my wallet can respect.
Look, I’m not just here to talk about the tools. I’m here to make sure you know what you’re getting into before you head out to Home Depot and start grabbing boxes off the shelf. In this video, I give you the lowdown on which tools are absolute must-buys and which ones you might wanna think twice about. It’s not just about saving money—it’s about getting the best bang for your buck. And trust me, there are a few tools here that’ll give you more bang than you bargained for. But hey, that’s what I’m here for—to test these things so you don’t have to.
So sit back, grab a snack, and let’s go through these deals together. You’re gonna see some major savings, some great tools, and maybe a few surprises along the way. And don’t forget to like, subscribe, and hit that notification bell. I’m always on the hunt for deals, and if you’re a tool fanatic like me, you won’t wanna miss the next one. Just don’t tell my wife I’ve got another trip to Home Depot planned. She thinks I’m there for the garden section. No respect, I tell ya!

Even though it seems like it would, that wind up on the Dewalt nailers doesn’t lead to any kind of delay in the use of the nailer. That wind up starts as soon as you depress the tip of the gun, so when ready to press the trigger the gun is good to go. Even if you don’t have the full wind up, the tool still shoots great.

The tricky thing is going back and forth from their pin nailer to their brad or finish nailer. The pin nailer doesn’t have a tip depress, it just fires as soon as you pull the trigger.

Just my 2 cents, from my experience.

How would you rank the DCF840 from DEWALT and a good drill to get with it? I have a slow brushed craftsman drill from 10+ years ago I’m looking to upgrade for building and renovations around the house

Got a couple questions about two of the tools you mentioned. First is the DeWalt angle grinder being the second best. What in your opinion is the best? Second is the barrel grip jig saw when you said good luck using it. I’ve yet to use a barrel grip jigsaw and was wondering about it.
