For the Pop_OS story, the download link wasn't taken down. It's just an empty repository for where the files will go once they are ready. 21.10 is looking like it will be a fun release.

When I got my first Pi4, I took the box it arrived in and turned that into a temporary case, cutting out holes for all the ports.
During an experiment I took a water tight tub with lid and modified that, so I could dunk my Pi4 into non conductive luminescent liquid. This was a fun experiment, and an interesting case.

Hi Lee, you do not need a motion detector, if you use Motions EyeOS with just a Pi and Camera, remember man
Build a Case from Cardboard, or go one better with Craft Wood and a Stanley Knife, then burn some spots with a soldering iron

It also makes sense to buy cheap the IC from the PI 400 in large quantities and also to use it in the PI 4 and CM 4. But for sure there will still be many PI 4 with the old IC in stock somewhere and nobody knows which one was installed.

Good to know about the CPU.. They should have announced it themselves clearly. Watch the market get flooded with the older CPU for a few bucks cheaper with no mention of it. LAME fan inside that REtrolite CM4.. Spend the extra pennies for a decent fan.
