The beginning of a new era. Today will be a day that I will remember for the rest of my life. This song and my world around it, will forever be changed. This is the hardest song I’ve ever had to write and sing, but it’s my favorite for that exact reason. I wrote this song to share a story about being led into temptation and facing a battle between love and toxicity. A fight and an inner battle within our selves, by choosing something or someone we know will inevitably hurt us in the end 🥀 I believe many people need to hear this, because at some point in time we’ve all experienced this pain. I’m so grateful for the love and support you all have shown me on this song and this new era. I don’t deserve any of it, but I will always be forever grateful for the continuing support on this road. My stepdad passed away 3 days ago from terminal cancer. My heart is absolutely shattered. That big ole tall giant of a man hung the moon and stars in my eyes. His grandbabies will always remember their Poppi 😢 he fought so hard and spoke of the future up until the day he left us.
