I would not be able to pull this off as a suit, but would perhaps try to wear the jacket separately. Beautiful color and texture indeed. IMHO, the trouser length is a bit too short. But that is a matter of personal preference.

Missing a nice straw hat! Makes a whole lot of difference for one's survival against sunlight. If you still have leftover fabric from your suit, you could use it for the hat band.
