I think many people stung out on heroin are hoping it takes them out peacefully in their high. They know they've hit rock bottom.

The crumbling of Ohio's cities are decades in the making.

Every major Ohio city except Columbus has been decreasing every decade because the factories and plants either closed or left, and the local governments and citizens not only don't know what to do, but have still haven't gotten over the loss of these industries as well.

Switzerland had a similar epidemic in the 90s and they radically improved the situation with the introduction of Safe Injection Sites and Heroin Assisted Treatment.

The same approach has worked in other European countries as well. And it even saves money compared to the monetary costs of crime and HIV/AIDS treatment that occur if you don't have these Harm Reduction measures.

heroin is a lifetime battle that's what people don't understand these people unfortunately are going to need help for the rest of their lives..

The strange thing to me is that the police force is not complaining about this additional role.... they complain about dealing with mental health issues complain about dealing with homelessness.... etc.... must be nice to have people concerned about your well-being....

This problem is very serious... this is an epidemic in America these people needs long term treatment and a strong support system.. So that they can live life on life terms. ...
