Lufthansa Agrees ITA Airways Deal

Lufthansa has finally agreed to acquire a minority stake in ITA Airways that'll equate to 41%. As a result, the airline will invest money in the airline and look to develop it, hopefully benefitting the broader group's operations. So let's explore the decision.

LH has a good track record of turning around European Airlines, I have faith because they have different plans to what previous partners of Alitalia did, such as EY.

As a retired LH employee, I think it's a great move by LH to help keep ITA running smoothly. Time will tell.

So silly that all the 'tubers represent that alerts stuff as a bell. Youtube alerts are just emails. No popups or notifications or alerts or anything useful. I can be watching youtube and the time comes and goes and nothing, and then some time later I search and find the email in some non-inbox folder.

LH certainly needs help with increasing its fleet size as it can’t get planes fast enough so being part of ITA’s available fleet and bookable seats can only help them in a partnership. I think I said that right?

Probably another bad investment for LH. They have made quite a few of those. It's a mess of airline they are taking on. Swiss is the only that has made any money but they seem to have a habit of taking on unprofitable carriers
