Gerri Eisenhauer's father, Private William Walters, died in World War II just a few months before she was born – killed in action in France, according to a brief telegram. Eisenhauer believed she would never learn what happened to her father, until she received word that the French village of Grez-sur-Loing was planning to pay tribute to Private Walters, to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of France. The respect shown by the French village gives me chills. Thank you for caring.
The family of this soldier is blessed to know the final part of his story.😊

In honoring a young man who gave his all for their freedom, they unknowingly kept his legacy alive for a little girl who never knew her dad.
Imagine living for only 20 years & your memory having such an impact years later.

I am an American living in France and tomorrow is armistice day. There will be memorials and flowers and American army tanks brought out from storage to mark the day the French so appreciate all we did for them and do remember all these years later. It’ll be one day that I feel proud to be an American instead of ashamed.

Thank you to Gerri Eisenhauer for sharing with about your father's life, and sacrifice.
ALL respect to Private William Walters.
Private Williams gave his all for our country and this world.
And now the majority of the American voters have taken these efforts and sacrifices of our soldiers, like Private William Walters' sacrifice, and elected Trump for second 4-year term as POTUS (President of the United States).
"Bone spurs" Trump ... rapist, traitor, grifter, criminal, liar.
