Hey guys, it's Virtus Creative Hub and welcome to my YouTube channel. Looking to get started with VIrtual Reality (VR) in Unreal Engine 5? This video tutorial will walk you through the steps of previewing your game with the Quest 2 in Unreal Engine and creating bespoke actors that can be picked up. By the end of this video you’ll have your quest 2 connected to UE 5, custom pickup actors and be able to setup VR in a custom scene using your own content.

You said to tell you what I plan to make…I plan to create a story driven game such as life is strange or the quarry, but in VR so YOU are living the experience and not another character. Showing your life story and dropping you in a crazy situation. I think it is a needed game genre for VR! And I’m excited to start! Thanks for the video 😊

I wish the purpose for using Android Studio 4 was explained, as now there are far more versions, and using the link shown in this video now gives you a prompt to download Android Studio "Electric Eel". Took me way too long to find the old 4 version, but can i use 4.1 or 4.2? What even is this for?

annoying. So many Unreal Engine "tutorials" never clearly tell the viewer which version they are using. Sheer laziness. Many things are different between the different versions (like button allocation for Quest 2 between 5.0 and 5.1)

Thank you so much for the awesome video! Would it be possible to test a VR game without a headset? For example, I use keyboard WASD to move around and grab with different keyboards input with Unity. I am wondering if Unreal has a similar option.

in VR view, there is no controllers. How can I solve it?
My project is UE5.1, VR device are Vive, Oculus.
