Hungary, a NATO member, has made a big pro-Russian demand to the bloc. Budapest wants NATO's sanction policy against Moscow "reviewed." The demand comes after Hungary's government revealed a survey result showing that 97% of Hungarians reject "sanctions that cause serious damage." Budapest says that these restrictions have failed to stop the conflict but caused a lot of economic problems for Europe. The government spokesperson pointed out that Hungary is the first EU country to poll its citizens about the Russian sanctions’ impact. In recent months, the West's imposed sanctions on Russia have exacerbated Europe’s energy crisis, causing fuel prices and the cost of living to surge. Hungary, which is heavily dependent on Russian energy, has long been critical of the European Union's sanctions policy against Moscow.

Hungary can be a good example to the world by speaking their truth and telling the world to grow up and understand the sanctions are affecting the poorest people. Not that America/NATO care about them.

Hats off to Hungarians and their government for not losing their common sense and for speaking up about a very important issue for them and for the entire eu... at a time when almost everyone else hides their heads in the sand, like the ostrich!

Atleast Hungary looks like very few nations among the European Union and Nato which knows the value of "independent thinking and use of common sense.

Will the other EU countries dare poll their people about the war?

During the first few weeks of the war, Ukraine and Russia were close to a deal with Russia to stop the war but US told Ukraine to continue the war and that it will support it. Ukraine didn't understand it but US did it so that it can sell weapons and fuel to Ukraine and EU and make huge profits. After the war, Ukraine will have to pay for all those weapons it had been receiving from US.

This is not "pro-Russia" move... this is PRO-COMMON-SENSE request. Hungarians still have healthy mind and are not reprobate like other members of NATO.

If their country suffers as a result of sanctions imposed on Russia, they have to oppose it no matter whom they are allied with. That doesn't mean they do support Russia.

London plans to transfer to Ukraine tanks, self-propelled howitzers, but also Apache combat helicopters. This will not save Zelensky and unconditionally prolong the conflict for some more time. I spoke on this topic on my channel today, because Ukraine and the issue of supplying Western weapons do not lose their relevance in the Russian media and society.

Hungary and many other countries who do not want to participate in the "sanction bandwagon" should just leave NATO, otherwise they will get into trouble with their master USA for criticising.

It doesn't help to review sanctions. Reviewing sanctions amounts to endorsing them. The best way to deal with sanctions is to ignore them and devise ways to defeat them once and for all.
