I still love that the beam magnum is, like most of gundam unicorn, an homage and love letter to the original gundam show. Like the RX-78 and its beam rifle, , it's an overwhelming, battleship class beam rifle that can handily one-shot any mobile suit.

The Beam Magnum is cool and all, but it's kinda sad that people forget about the original RX-78-2 Gundam's beam rifle, which had the exact same sound, and is the reason the Beam Magnum sounds like this at all.
