At this time, also a pickup with sapphire stylus was available, mend for lightweighted play. With this, it would be a modern record player. But it took up to the 1950's and then it was forced by micro groove records plus a shellac plastic, diluted with vinyl.

I have change also the rubber suspensions. Then, I have try various inputs on my Amplifier, until it was good. Or are you trying Output transformer with windings.

thanks for the reply. I have a dual 55e, and my pickup is very loud, and sometime the sound is distorted. I try to change the rubber suspensions in the pickup, but i wasnt better.
So i though maybe the needle is too loud, and try to play with low needle.
Your pickup has sound, if you turn down the volume?

Nice to look at, the arm is heavy and therefore will damage the records by wearing them out, i would not use it but for show. Thank you.
