[Eurovision 2016] Dami Im- Sound of Silence (Cover)

Hi guys :)

I feel like I have so much and so little to say about this song at the same time. It was very difficult. In all the aspects possible and impossible. It was just very hard to get through. Pretty sure you can notice my face colour changing as the song goes on cause my cheeks are definitely getting redder and redder. When learning it I didn't want to record it. When recording it I didn't want to post it. When posting it I'm having so many doubts because I know this is not my best cover. But it's my bravest cover for sure.

No one can compare to Dami Im and I'm not trying to. I just wanted this song to win so badly I had a tantrum at my boyfriend's house after the final results came out! (Omg I'm such an embarrassing girlfriend ^^) So because this was my absolute favourite from all the Eurovision songs this year, I decided to cover it.

Feel free to comment mean and nasty things along with constructive criticism because I need a lot of it. I'm ready to take anything because I don't make videos to please anyone, I do it because I genuinely love every step of the way towards making every singly video.

Margarita, I read what you had to say in the description box, and you are exhibiting the bravery and confidence that I wish i had on my own. In reality, it's hard to amount to a professional singer's "range". But that is BEYOND the point. You don't need to sound perfect to post something on your PERSONAL youtube video. If anyone says something mean, its most likely not personal, but a heat-of the-moment remark. People don't always realize the person uploading is not always a totally confident, fearless "celebrity". Young girls like you and I can invest our energy into something we enjoy (dare I mention self-happiness! lol), even if we do not amount to perfection. Oh, and your voice? Well, I think you're taking major risks with the high notes! Keep challenging yourself. :) Besides, you didn't win the Eyes Nose Lips contest randomly :) Also, uploading singing videos on youtube does not require professional skills; it merely requires FUN, real fun!!!! HAVE FUN IN And enjoy your time in England, because the present will subside, but whether you sound "perfect" (Stupid Term) in a video clip is irrelevant. Thanks for being a role model for me, because I always struggle with putting myself out there when I feel insecure.
