ONE BLADE CORE Review Shave

I'm with you, man. My first shave was not great. I sliced off both stoppers upon inserting blade first time. Very lightly I might add. The worst thing, I was attempting to clean very carefully underneath the head and it popped up and the spring came out. Pretty much impossible to get it back in and press the head back down. I contacted OneBlade and at least they're sending me a replacement. Said the razor was probably defective. I guess we'll see. Anyway, great honest review. Love your channel.

I was hoping for a better review on your part but appreciate the honesty. Should be getting my Core tomorrow. Since I haven't tried the stainless I don't have it to compare to so hopefully it will be a good experience once I give it a few shaves.

I'm in the same boat as you Ken.  Although I do not have a Genesis model to compare I was very excited having the Core.  It gave me a good shave, but I had to work it quite a bit after 3 passes to get an almost BBS shave.  What it does have going for it is that I can work my face with zero irritation.  I did notice quite a bit of blade wiggle once the blade was set in the razor.  I didn't cut the stops off so I'm good there.  I guess I'm back to saving for and justifying the Genesis.  I have a hard time even thinking about dropping that cash for it when my Ming Shi 2000S cost me $13 shipped and gives me a BBS in 2 passes and clean up.  It's just not as effortless as the Core though, but the blades are much cheaper. Thanks for the honesty in the videos.

Decided when they came out that I wasn't gonna get a one blade core. Instead got a new gem featherweight for $8. I'm happy 😁

the same thing was going on with mine blade going past the stopper...my shave was junk...live and learn i guess..will try again..put my core back in the box for now.aluminum head with that handle would be great

Have you tried the Stirling Soap co executive man? Great scent strength in that same scent.

Hey Ken. You seemed really bummed about the performance of the CoreRazor. I wonder if that could be because you have a;ready gotten used to the OneBlade. You could just be spoiled, lol. As with any new razor, you'll have to give it a couple more shaves. Also seems like there might be a very different learning curve. I hope it works out for you, if not, off to the BST, lol. Have a good one buddy.

Forgot to talk abut that brush...one work: SWEET! I can;t wait to be able to get my own custom. Looking forward to more shaves with it :)
