D3.js Tutorial for Beginners-04- Modifying Functions

D3 stands for Data-Driven Documents. It is an open-source JavaScript library developed by Mike Bostock to create custom interactive data visualizations in the web browser using SVG, HTML and CSS.

D3 selections allow DOM elements to be selected in order to do something with them, be it changing style, modifying their attributes, performing data-joins or inserting/removing elements.
