Had 2 and a half years trying to figure this out you just made it sound so much less complicated than everyone else has for me. Thank you very much

That's really good to hear that you understand the whole concept and glad the video helped. All the best with your engineering mathematics test.

Doing Aircraft Engineers license and transposing was my achilles heel for the maths module. Helped a lot, thanks.

I was trying to get this concept of Transposition since high school & was unsuccessful. Now I'm doing Structural Engineering and have a Engineering Mathematics test coming up; watching your made me understand the whole concept, now everything falls into place.

Thanks for the feedback - did a mechanical craft apprenticeship myself when I first left school (a long time ago now) and learning how to transpose formula made all the other engineering maths just fall into place. :-)

Explained simply and concisely, unlike my teachers. Is there any way of you making a return to YouTube? I really hope there are a lot more videos than this one. Your videos help students like me, who want to see maths made easy; and find out different tricks, too.

Ok C=(9/5A)+32 first note that I have put a bracket around the division. So take 32 from both sides C-32=9/5A then i would times both sides by 5A to give

5A(C-32)=9 then note this is the same as A times 5(C-32)=9 so divide both sides by 5(C-32) and this gives A=9/(5(C-32)) This is taking it step by step. Hope this helps

Yes, this is one of those topics where after a while the penny drops and there is no more stress.

No offence taken :-) It is a west country england accent. Some of my friends tried helping me improve some pronunciation a few years ago but to little success and they gave up. Apparently when I say 'light bulb' they fall about laughing. My little contribuition to life's rich tapestry.

:), no offence, but you accent makes this fun to learn esp 1.41 some reason i was in knots. defo makes learning a dry subject interesting.
