Working 40+ hours a week just turn you into a slave and puts money in somebody's else pockets. That's why there is so much depression and stress in peoples lives.

Bernie has a point, in Europe people get a couple hours breaks in a day people live happier lives because of this. In America people are grinded to the ground weekly. Americans deserve to work less so they can spend more time on themselves and their family. People are not cattle.

Good for workers, good for productivity, good for everyone except commercial real estate. Doesn't help my specific case (salaried, at a startup, usually 70+ hours), but for all the people it would benefit, I absolutely support it. Bernie has always had the right ideas, it just took decades for the US to start to catch up.

I’m all for it, 32 hour work week I think everybody will be more energetic and dare I say happy to go to work. 4 days of work with pay remaining the same and 3days off to rest enjoy life more be with family more make more memories

This would be great on human health and family. I know a few guys who work 3-4 days a week but longer hour but love life

Last year I gave up my 50 hour a week retail manager job. I found that 4 day, 32 hour a week job.

This needs to happen. Americans are tired, sick and poor. I make a little more money than the average middleclass salary and im struggling to make ends meet. Im sick of working 40-50hrs a week.

I thought he meant 4x10s for 40hr weeks. He means 4 x 8s 32hr weeks but get paid the same. That sounds way too good to be true.

I think better yet that companies shouldn't be able too fire you for refusal of working overtime. 40 hours is enough for me and i choose to have more family time then extra money. If you want the overtime it should be an employee choice not forced with fear of losing ones job. Overtime is do too poor management and timing issues.
