This guide was awesome. I have so much fun playing Pyke and I’ve learned so much. I felt like a genius the first time I didn’t heal in a bush and deduced that they had it warded. It’s like he has a bonus passive! “You’re on a ward, idiot.”

Another thing is that, in the early game, you don't need to engage as pyke. Walking up with your Q charging, running around aimlessly in your W, literally just going from one bush to another -- all those things will make the enemy worry, and work great as intimidation tactics. In situations where you don't think you're ready for a full out engage, it's better to use your abilities to scare off the enemy -- remember that even if you get 0 kills, you're ahead if your ADC has more CS than the enemy's ADC.

Would like to mention that death’s dance is na amazona item in pyke completely synergises with his kit. And also pyke can use his últimate when ccd by an enemy and his ultimate Wont be canceled. This also had an interaction with guardian angel where your ult Will still go through

I would say go Boots of Swiftness over Mobis, because losing that massive amount of movement speed the moment you enter battle is really bad for a squishy melee assassin like Pyke. Swifties are still great for roaming and are also cheaper than mobis.

Using your R to land your E is extremely risky in most cases, so saving the ult for a reset opportunity is always a better choice. If you have a reset but you don't think you can get another reset with it, THEN it's a good idea to use your R in this way, but keep in mind that it still means you're completely committing to the kill.

Prowler's Claw is extremely inconsistent in comparison to Duskblade due to dashes, flashes, cc, and grouping. If the enemy groups a lot when you have Prowler's instead of Duskblade it means your mythic active becomes next to useless. Getting the invisibility off kills allows him to survive after getting resets, which is extremely important for him.

Also, since Pyke's scaling makes him more useless than a turtle strapped to a tree, if you don't snowball or manage to make one of your teammates a carry, you will lose in most cases.

Also a nice combo I like using is once you are comfortable with your Q pull range and know that the enemy is low and flashless (if youdo it perfectly it's extremely hard to flash out of even if they had it) you can use your Q pull to pull the enemy and drop them into execution range and put your R in the position they'll be hooked to as the hook is travelling
They'll be hooked back and immediately executed

Runes: if you are against hard poke supp and/or have low dmg adc, it's better to go green secondary runes for better lane survivability.
Boots: there are boots of swiftness too. They give slightly less out-of-combat MS, but they allow you to move better during the fight, and cost 100 less. As a bonus they give slow resistance. I generally pick them unless I have to roam top-bot fast.
I heard almost nothing about his W in this video. Most Pykes just waste it while it can zone opponents just by you existing nearby, it allows you to proc relic vs hard poke lanes, it allows you to control vision more reliably, it allows you to be a moving ward essentially.
Also there was nothing said about ganking. Pyke is probably one of the most reliable ganking supports. And I heard nothing in the video on macro lol. So in short: if you have nothing to do on botlane, you can easily gank one of your solo lanes.

as a OTP pyke with 800k points I can say only one thing: If u made a mistake playing pyke, u will die in 0.2sec. Thats why I hate this champ.

Something that also works is replacing mobility boots with lucidity boots and replacing ultimate hunter with relentless hunter. You lose a bit of move speed out of combat and a bit of cd on ur ult but gain 20 ability haste on other abilities. Consider when building prowlers as you lose the ability haste from the mythic passive of duskblade

Little tip for your r, if possible, especialy if you didnt go dusk blade, try to save e after you r, so when you get kill and get teleported in middle of enemy team you can just e away, most of the times if you dont e you will get cc and die in 2 sec becouse of no hp
