Driving through Virginia's Capital of Richmond, A Glorious City of the South

Cityscapes Travel embarks on day trips that are within 4-5 hours of Raleigh, NC. Richmond is a mere 2.5-hour drive from Raleigh. We usually head to Richmond to take Amtrak up to New England as it saves 4-5 hours' time traveling from Durham (there's something about the train hitting the state line that causes delays). The Amtrack station in Richmond is quite impressive with its artwork as well as relaxing waiting areas.
