Review Underhell. It's quite original mod, so you can't tell much about it. All I can say is that mod is divided for two parts:

1. When you walk around the house which might also frighten you in really random ways. There's also day/night system, and yes... you dream at night. These dreams might be scary too.

2. You are going to the "job" as anti-terrorist. Cool shooting feeling and also some cool scenes and really great ending (of the Prologue only for now).

Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for clearing that up. And yes, she's far from an 'old grandma' as she does a spectacular job with the voice acting in the HL games. It sounds like the ValveTime intro was recorded on a bad webcam microphone, so that's why it doesn't sound very good. Still impressive to know it's her in the intro!

It wasn't a leak, Valve confirmed it on the CS:GO twitter page. We'll be sure to talk about it on the show when the update is officially released sometime soon.

Just remember - Half-Life 2 was not the first Source 1 game. Counter-Strike: Source came out half a month earlier.

While I'm not saying Left 4 Dead 3 will come out half a month before (or anywhere close to) Half-Life 3, there is no requirement or unwritten rule which demands Half-Life 3 is the first Source 2 game to be released or shown off.

Just so people stop complaining over L4D3 and not Half Life 3, I would like to say this. Valve has a system where they split up into multiple groups, each working on certain projects. This means that there are teams for L4D3 and Half Life 3, and that there is no need to make a fuss over it.

I think Left 4 Dead 3 would be perfect for VALVe's first game on their new engine.
Left 4 Dead games have always shown off all sorts of performance and graphics improvments for the Source engine.

Why do people think that one game comes AT THE EXPENSE of another one? They have teams for every project. L4D games are much "easier" to make. They is a clear feature-list on which they can expand and iterate. The Half Life series is expected to INNOVATE in some way and still have a great plot. That is much harder and requires much more time and effort. L4D sequels are a big thing as well but with L4D you KNOW what you need to do and improve. It is the perfect test for the new engine.

Imagine how everybody would flip shit if they did something on HL3 in those last 3 hours

That would be Merle Dandridge, the voice actress for Alyx Vance in Half-Life 2. I'm sure everyone will agree that she is far from an 'old grandma'.

absolutely! I think when L4D3 comes out first, what I dont expect, it will just be finally the next big game by Valve, which will shorten the wait time for Half-Life, but again, I dont think it will come out before HL3. Valvetime also said that it looks like L4D3 is in early development, HL3 is sure not in early development. Maybe L4D3 is just the testing enviroment for Source 2.
