Despite generally being a lazy, greedy and repugnant species with a poor connection to the force, there surprisingly was one Hutt that joined the Jedi order. 400 years before the battle of Endor, a young huttlet named Beldorian was taken in by the Jedi Order, attaining the rank of Jedi Knight. Maybe unsurprisingly, he and a fellow Jedi fell to the dark side. After killing his Jedi friend, he took over the planet, ruling over it for over 400 years. He managed to escape the Jedi purged and would only be disturbed 13 years after the battle of Yavin by the Jedi Callista Ming. After imprisoning the Jedi, he drew thee attention of Grand Master Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. After breify capturing Leia, she escaped, engaging the dark Jedi in a duel. Although he was powerful in the force, she eventually emerged victorious after she cut the Hutt in half.

Despite appearing fat and being lazy it was actually revealed that hurts are stronger than they look. Their Tails can crush the bones of a normal human, they are surprisingly fast despite their appearance actually, they are extremely toxic and poisonous to eat and they are incredibly durable and thick
