Walken's awkward conversations are legendary. These are the type of things that are weird at the time but funny to look back on. I was at a gathering once and a guy I know to see (not a friend or anything) comes over. Strange guy and I knew he'd previously asked me a tech question. So he just stands beside me and says "hello". I reply hello and he stands there saying nothing waiting for ME to keep the conversation going. I decide I will say nothing to see what happens. About 20 seconds go by with complete silence and I just say "Well...see you later" and walk off. It was gloriously awkward
