Basic proportionality theorem example problem

Показать описание
Basic Proportionality theorem is usually explained in the textbooks using a triangle with unequal sides. However this only confuse children. while it is explained using an equilateral triangle it becomes easier. watch this vodeo and learn the BPT.
In ncert 10th math, this is theorem 6.1.
It basically says that, If there is a line that passes through two sides of a triangle at distinct points and such that it is parallel to the third side then the line divide the two sides proportionally.
Here is an example problem where we shall use BPT.
