You might remember Polestar as Volvo’s high-performance department, and today, they've become their own brand that deals exclusively in electrified vehicles.

I recently spent about 1,200 kilometres test-driving the brand's current entry-level Polestar 2 while filming and shooting the machine for some upcoming projects, and it's a pretty impressive little machine.

For those seeking a high-energy drive, gobs of power and quiet looks, the Polestar 2 is a modern-day electric sleeper.

It's nice to see a video about this car that doesn't assume the viewer is already an electric car nerd. It's also nice to see a video specifically about the Polestar rather than YET ANOTHER comparison lol

This is a really good, different sort of video and I really enjoyed it. I've been driving the Polestar 2 now for about a half year and have been struck by the things you mention... the smoothness being foremost. It's gotten to the point where I find driving even very nice ICE vehicles a little jarring.

I just tried the smallest version with one motor and the smaller battery (170kw/69kw/h) and I enjoyed it very much. I had a Model 3 (SR) for nearly two years and I loved it. I have to say that I liked the suspension and unfolding of power more in the Polestar. It's strange, the M3 had much more power and the Version 22 has longer range but still I prefer the Polestar. Ride quality feels more refined and materials and the way they are put together feel like you get a little more value. Both cars are beautiful to behold.
Do you remember if the color of your test car was snow or magnesium? I looks more like snow but depending on angles and lighting conditions it's hard to tell.

I can't believe you never even mentioned such a groundbreaking thing as the Google system?! You're the first in all reviews that didn't rave about it . That is one HUGE omission in this review. Very incomplete imo not to even mention it.

Looks Like a BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, Mercedes C Class, Tesla Model 3, Lexus ES 250, Infiniti Q50, Acura TLX A Spec or Genesis G70

I'd avoid the Tesla's and the VW EVs . I've watched them all taken apart and dissected . The Mustangs and this are the safest and best built of the bunch. You add the Google system running the show, it's at least 3 to 4 times faster than anything else.
