Ryobi Brushless Vacuum Review PBLSV717K. In this video I do an unboxing and quick overview and review of the Ryobi Brushless duo roller vacuum model PBLSV717K.

Weight
The vacuum is by far the lightest vacuum I've ever used, even with the 4 AH battery.

Power
The power produced by the Ryobi cordless vacuum is very good overall. It does an excellent job on hard surfaces and with the pet attachment. Because of its lightweight, it does an excellent job getting cobb-webs from corners as well. On carpet I would have to say it performs average at best. I found that the bristles don't penetrate very thick carpet well like a corded vacuum would.

Lighting
The Ryobi vac has a very bright LED light. However, due to its positioning, it seems to be pointing downward too much, causing it to create too much light in one concentrated area, making items difficult to see that are right in front of the vacuum.

Canister
In time's past with Shark and Dyson vacuums, I was always turned off by the small capacity of the canister, however, the Ryobi can be used multiple times before needing to be dumped! I currently have a stick Shark that needs to be dumped every 5 minutes or so!

Battery System
It takes regular 18V Ryobi batteries and that makes me SOOOO HAPPY! I have a ton of these batteries, and I personally, haven't seen a huge difference between a regular 4AH battery and a High Output although, I'm sure the difference is there.

Features
One feature missing from almost all stick vacuums is the ability to stand up on its own. This accomplishes that feat perfectly!

Overall I am very pleased with this vacuum and while I saw it at Tools Direct a few days ago for $120... I'm not all that mad I paid the $217 for it from Direct Tools. Do I think it's worth $300? My frugal face can't stop frowning at that thought, but it is one of the... well, if not THE best cordless stick vacuum on the market so I'll let you decide. I want to replace my Shark stick vac with this thing, but I'll wait for another sale LOL.

The thing that is great about lights at the head of a vacuum is that you can easily identify debris or pet hair on tile. My house is entirely tile and I will never utilize a vacuum in this house without a light source for this reason. Makes it easy to confirm you got the dirt!

a lot of people don't know why Dyson need to pull up the top then the bottom door open, and then need to drop the top and close the bottom door, because it better than just only the bottom door open, Dyson design to pull up the top filter higher first, then door open, it can release inside dust pressure when it's too full, , dust won't stuck.

Was walking by the dock at my job today and noticed a Festool Vacuum box. I was betting the dock guys that the vac was probably over $1, 000. It was the CT 48… listed as $1, 055 lol. I was kind of joking when I was betting them, but figured that Festool name would be close 😂😂😂
