While the device in itself is quite nice the support for its appalling. If time constraints are an issue for you don't bother with this technology from Microchip. There are alternatives (including based on electric fields), you just have to find those. I have never ever experienced such poor customer support for the last approx. 4 months I have been working on a project with this thing. You basically open a case, then have to call for someone to get assigned to it (why that is is beyond my understanding), then you get told (every SINGLE TIME) "Sorry, I'm not familiar with this device. I will forward your question to my colleagues.", then you wait and wait (have to call a bunch of times to boost the moral of Microchip's support troops) and at the end there is a high chance that you are left out in the rain without a solution to your - I have to say - generic question which is however tightly related to be it documentation, code samples or the API itself of this device. Again - appalling service, don't bother.

Will this work out of the box on Windows 10 x64 ? The documentation only mentions Windows 8
