Elon didnt want LiRadar in the Tesla builds which by far has been the best so far in terms of research data for autopilot - instead he opted for cameras to predict algorithms which in my opinion isnt as good

Tesla has the same but a lot better, Tesla self driving does inside the city limits, my brother has a Tesla model Y, all he has to do is tell the map to take him home, and the Tesla self driving does the job, this could save lives, in the case where drunk drivers don’t listen to state laws, but the Tesla will take them home safely.

Good stuff. I thought this was more amazing, until I received Tesla’s FSD software on my Model Y. Now this video looks like a super simple mini-cruise control compared to Tesla’s FSD. I was absolutely blown away by the sophisticated ability of the Tesla to operate on surface streets in tight traffic with pedestrians and complex inner city roadways. Freeway driving is infinitely simpler, and FSD becomes almost boring on freeways. At the same time FSD is not yet perfect, but it’s still so good that it does blow your mind and you just want to take all your friends for a ride.
