Oh! What a gift to Africa at large. He was a genius. I wish I had known him in his life's time. I can't stop watching his 1957 debate in the US because of his eloquence and high level of understanding well above others.

I never knew him until after I had watched his outstanding performance at the 1957 debate. Don't know why intellectuals are hardly recognized in Nigeria. Meanwhile, touts are ruling us. May his soul requiescat in pacem, Amen

I've just learnt of my brother and papa, what kinds and minds we have always had in our country. I would have loved to have met and learnt from such a man as this, however I thank God that I am born a Nigerian and my own papa was cut of the same cloth as the late Great Mr Boniface Offokaja. Peace and love to all who come here from his great 1957 panelists performance in the USA, in a critical debate he fully and with great lucid command of the topics discussed he proceeded to defended our pride in our collective African world! Just an honest and beautiful mind. God bless you sir and Rest you in Peace. 🙏🏾 Sun re Baba.

I am happy to have discovered mr boniface through the archived channel, during the high school debate in the US in 1957. He was an outstanding student even at 16 years old, I hope he kept in touch with the south African teenager, she was equally outstanding.

Some people get their flowers while they are alive, some while they are dead, others don't get it at all. It may seem late but I am glad that in the very least, the world is coming to terms that once upon a time, there was a great man who lived.... His children and grandchildren are lucky to have him.
