While anyone can appreciate the money the government should be giving people tools to stay out of poverty. Better wages, a “citizens income” and lowering things like rent and utility bills is a good start.

US should make it easier for poor people from poor countries to immigrate to USA. Like Haiti, Nigeria, ect. Nigeria has 11x less land than the US but it is expected to surpass the US’s population by 2050.

How much is big business getting? How much is social security being raised beyond the 1.0 cola? Zero whats the weekly benefits Americans have been getting? Zero so so far we are getting a big $2000 a year stimulus for food bills housing. Excuse me but how far does this go? Not very far

I disagree. Yes your getting a stimulus check and getting unemployment and extra money per child. This country is just printing money and the value of each bill is decreasing. So I’m fairness all this does is going to inflate the cost of things and other bills will raise to keep up with the devalue of the bills due to the government just printing money. Ask me what can you buy for a dollar in 2021 ?

This still will not raise people out of poverty. Joe is going to raise taxes to pay for the bill. The educated people will use the stimulus money to invest into thier future. The poor/ignorant will use the money to buy tvs, furniture, booze. Being poor is a mindset. You can't force people think differently if they don't want to.
