They have been a solid band and kept on improving, they even filled the void that as i lay dying left.

My father was never there for me. The pain that caused ripples through to my personality to this day. From the bullying with no one to show me how to fight or have a backbone... to learning how to shave on my own or play basketball... all the way to my early adulthood with zero ability to get women to like me or how to understand them when they do. All of that is in this song somehow!

Now i have 2 kids and the fear to repeat or worsen the mistakes of my father echo in every decision i make. I take into account how i felt then to how my boys feel in any given situation. But "I will not stand in the shadow of your demons" instead, i will be their immovable stone. Its all for them because ive never had this. Thank you for making someone as dead inside as i feel most days cry. I feel the need but i never can. Because i rather lock it all away to be their rock. The fact this song manages to be this metal amd convey such emotion is stunning. 100/10 because yal broke my scale. Rock on 🤘
