Wind resistance scales exponentially and so does drivetrain friction. If you have a dyno graph it's not difficult to calculate where it ought to be geared with 2-3 data points for max top end. Or browse land speed racing threads...

I ride a KTM and it has the least speedo error of all bikes kinda under 3%, stock. I wonder if all KTMs are that accurate.
