As a westerner who has just recently taken a trip to China I have to say the place blew me away. Too many people buy the nonsense propaganda here in the West.
What did I take away from my trip? The friendliness of the Chinese people, the cleanliness of their cities and streets, the safety of their could walk around with my backpack unzipped and without fear of getting pick pocketed or having my phone snatched out of my hand! There was no graffiti, no litter and good reliable public transport. To anyone from the west reading this, don't listen to the take a trip and see for yourself. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to walk city streets night or day and feel safe? Then go to China!
I will definitely return, and to any Chinese people reading this.... thank you for your hospitality.
