I just did a book with Pixmig — the wooden cover — which I hadn't even heard of until I saw your review here. I did a travel photo book, like yours, rather than a wedding book. I'm a tough critic but, frankly, Pixmig exceeded my expectations, mostly so with the glossy photofinishing. I've used about 6 companies in the past; aside from MyPublisher (no long with us), I've never had results as good as with Pixmig. And the wooden cover (and box) really are stylish, and well worth the price IMO. You called it "an amazingly special book." I agree! Thank you for pointing me in that direction — it would have completely escaped me otherwise.

Last my niece had her quinceniera (a really expensive coming of age party) and I got married. For both occasions we hired a professional photographer and videographer. The packages did not include a photobook but I wanted to create them myself either way. I use snapfish I have never heard of such companies and I was really happy with the results. I got 12 x 12 lay flat book for the quinceniera and the 12 x 12 lay flat book premium for my wedding. I was happy with both even the print quality. I did love the wooden book though.
