Loading Firmware Using TunerStudio!!!

In this video we touch on a commonly asked question about how to load firmware on your MegaSquirt unit! TunerStudio has a built in tool to make loading MegaSquirt firmware easy. It works with the MegaSquirt-II and MegaSquirt-III line, including MS3Pro and MSPNP2 ECUs. You can use this tool to update the firmware to get the latest features for your ECU or to perform a “hard reset” if the tune ends up with settings issues that lock out normal communication.

Glad to see you posting videos! Just wondering, for a MS2-gen2 a jumper on the main board had to be moved in order to load new firmware. Does this new method remove that step? If so, kudos! I don't like going inside the box any more than I absolutely HAVE to and not having to do that is a big plus.

If that step is still necessary...oh well.

Hello so here's my deal I'm not sure what I did but now I installed the new firmware for my pimpx ms3 and got this

I GOT A ERROR CODE( off or SEMI-sequential does not make sence on rotary or 2 stroke-use full sequential-pin already in use by-a programable on/off input)

I WANT TO ERASE EVERYTHING AND START FROM SCRATCH SO HOW CAN I FACTORY RESET AND START OVER AND I GOT SOME OTHER PROBLEMS BUT I NEED TO FIGUIRE THIS ONE

BFIRST SINSE IT WONT CONECT TO FIX IVE TRIED FOR 3 WEEKS TO FIX ON MY OWN) I'm out of ideas here any help is much valued thank you

Anyone still watching these comments and can help. When connected to the MS2 unit the tunerstudio sees the MS2 but it won't connect to it if that makes sense.

Says not connected when loading a sample project.
