Huh?!! I have always liked " A Tale of Two Cities" and consider it one of Dickens' best. The contrast between London and Paris - hence the title - and the dramatization of the French Revolution and why it happened appeals to me. You can almost hear the clicking of Madam DeFarge's knitting needles. Having said that, I can understand why you think that the book is slow.
