VP Kamala Harris condemns deadly Georgia school shooting

Two students and two teachers were killed in a shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, on Wednesday morning, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Vice Pres. Kamala Harris condemned the deadly Georgia high school shooting, saying, "it doesn't have to be this way."

"Our kids are sitting in a classroom where they should be fulfilling their God-given potential and some part of their big, beautiful brain is concerned about a shooter busting through the door of the classroom."

The shooter was 14 years old. Parents need to know what their kids are doing. They need to give their children boundaries, curfews, rules, and teach them right from wrong.

It won't stop until mental illness is addressed and the school system is checked. Most of the time the shooter is labeled as a weirdo at school. We need to re educate all the kids

My daughter school had a lockdown last school year…senior year.
She said you can pull me out of school. How can I focus on graduating if I have to worry about a peer shooting our school.
I was ready to take her out of school that day. But the school got them counseling and she decided to finish and graduate.
We never had to deal with this.

No child should ever have to feel this

High prices, parents have to work more
Parents doing overtime, kids are alone
Lonely kids develop mental health issues
Mental health issues lead to a breakdown
Breakdowns lead to despair and hate
Despair and hate lead to destruction.

Our country is broken, our government is divided, our economy is going down the drain, now our youth, the only hope we have for our future, their innocence is dissipating, disintegrating, dying. What is there to hope for if we lose them?

I got spankings as a child and never once felt abused. I never got a spanking i didnt deserve and i was surrounded by family that would repremend me if i got out of line. Many times i got out if the car because my friends were going to do something stupid and i remember thinking its not worth the spanking i would get if caught. You can spank a child( at the appropriate age) without abusing them. Kept me out of trouble!
