Cinema 4D Quick Tip: How to project a spline onto an object

Let's say we want to project a text spline onto a cylinder object.
First, we have to make a text spline editable. To do this, we click on the Make Editable logo.
If we switch to point mode, we will notice that the number of points is small and they are unevenly distributed along the spline, but if we want the spline to be accurately projected onto the object, we need a large number of evenly distributed points.
So we open the MoGraph menu and click MoSpline. In Object tab we change the mode to Spline, drag our text spline into the Source Spline, change Generation Mode to Even and adjust (if necessary) the value of Count (100 will be OK). Next, we make the newly created MoSpline editable by clicking Make Editable logo. After that we can delete the original text spline.
Now, if we select the newly created MoSpline, we will see that the spline has the large number of evenly distributed points.
Finally, we open the Spline menu, go to Move and click Project. In Attributes tab we change Mode to our projection plane (it is XY plane) and press Apply.
As you can see, our text spline is accurately projected onto the cylinder object.

¿Como le hago si el spline es más grande que el objeto? Quiero proyectar el spline sobre toda una esfera
