Recently got into classic tbc and i find myself really missing the achievie system. I'm so hype for wotlk, and i remember feeling what you said back in the day "completing all the achievies" felt doable in a healthy way back then, instead of just utterly overwhelming and hectic like in retail. Then again, I did take 10 years off lol.

Yeah, getting full PvP gear is really quick, only takes 450 hours for the blue pieces...

STV Fishing Extravaganza is bugged atm, you can "win" even if it's won, for some reason another goblin with the quest ? appears ON the goblin, so you can hand it in whenever I got Master angler at 17:00 ST and the following week got it after it had been done.

Thanks for the tipp that all stuff for the Insane title were already farmable. I used that as my long-term motivation and last week I completed it. I have all the required rep, including honored Bloodsail and Exalted Steamweedle at the same time. The hardest part was spending 4 months on the ah of both factions to gather enough Darkmoon Decks. Quite a journey that was. Looking forward to lvling in wotlk with the title already on.

Dude, how everyone says it's "quickly done and solved / fast to obtain"? I see this on YouTube, reddit, etc. IT'S NOT!!! Unless everyone is super hardcore and plays 10h per day and am I the only filthy casual? It takes forever to reach level 70 (no matter by questing, dungeon grinding or mob grinding). Then there's all the rep farming, professions farming, and then the raids and heroics themselves. All of this easily take hundreds of hours, and if you play 1-2h per day it can take MONTHS, as it is supposed to be. How much time are you guys able to play?

Context: still level 66 and I'll still probably take 15 days to reach 70.

I fish and pick flowers, have mr pinchy, snarly, epic bird and halaa dark talbuk, no armor version ofc. tbc is fun

The fishing tournament is bugged I got to hand 3 times over the same contest 40 fishes an get 2 rods aswell as the trinket wile looking for the rares. The mob simply shows up again after a wile with the quest…

Imo, what the Classic and TBC Classic miss and both WOTLK will miss as well is the fact that people have a different mindset nowadays. Optimize and max out. Get BIS gear ASAP, roll best (DPS, TANK, HEAL) class/spec. To the point that game has no more give. BT was cleared so fast for a reason. People came TOO prepared for it. I would like to see people enjoying the game. Rolling a spec just for the hell of it. Re-discover the game. This is what made the patch interesting, everything was new and you had to discover everything through trial and error.

Currently got most of the Insane done (ravenhodt missing), Loremaster done and have all companions in game prepped besides a few. High warlord/scarab lord too with a whole bunch of toy/cosmetic items. If only classic had achis >:(
